Early-career researcher-physician at the University of Gothenburg↗ and Sahlgrenska University Hospital↗
My research seeks to understand the magnitude and mechanisms of chronic disease outcomes of long-term air pollution exposure and particle exposure in the workplace. I also contribute to research on the health effects of other environmental exposures as well as projects within metascience and bibliometry. I am building a policy-related research line and am currently applying for various sources of postdoc funding at the intersection between environment, society and health. I have extensive training in epidemiological methods which I also teach at multiple levels.
Representational work within higher education and research policy runs in parallel with my professional activities and has done so for a decade. Current foci include quality assurance, doctoral training, the European Universities Initiative, and ecological sustainability, mainly at the European level through the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers↗.
